To export bookmarks from Google Chrome on an old computer:
Insert a USB flash drive into one of your computer’s open USB ports.
Click the Customize and control icon (that’s the icon located in the top-right corner of the Chrome window right below the “X” you click to close the window).
Click Bookmarks>Bookmark manager.
Click the icon on the far right-hand side of the blue bar, then select Export bookmarks. You should now see a “Save file” dialog box on the screen.
Choose a name for the file that will be storing your bookmarks, then navigate to the USB flash drive you’ll be saving the file to.
Click the Save button.
To import your saved bookmarks into Chrome on the new computer:
Insert the USB flash drive containing the exported bookmarks file into one of your new computer’s open USB ports.
Click the Customize and control icon (that’s the icon located in the top-right corner of the Chrome window right below the “X” you click to close the window).
Click Bookmarks>Import bookmarks and settings.
Click the down arrow on the second line and select Bookmarks HTML File.
Click the Choose File button, then navigate to the USB flash drive that contains the exported bookmarks file.
Select the file you wish to import your bookmarks from.
Click the Open button and follow the prompts from there.
